What this covers

This covers details you sent through our website and through Energy Saving Guru lead forms on Facebook or Instagram. Those form answers reach our internal system, ESG OS, through our app "ESG OS Lead Integration". We only receive what you typed into the form, such as your name, business name, phone number, email address and the service you asked about.

How to ask for deletion

1. Email info@energysavingguru.co.uk with the subject "Data deletion request", or call 0141 611 2212.
2. Give the name, email address or phone number you used on the form so we can find your record.
3. We will respond to your request within one month and confirm what has been deleted.

What we may need to keep

Some records cannot always be deleted straight away. For example, where you have a contract arranged through us, we may need to keep certain records for legal, tax, accounting or regulatory reasons, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Where this applies we will keep only what is needed, for no longer than necessary, and we will tell you what is kept and why. Everything else covered by your request will be deleted.

Removing the app from Facebook

You can also remove the app from your Facebook account under Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites. This stops future sharing but does not delete details we already hold, so please also contact us as above.
